Our Story:

Growing up in a middle-of-nowhere town in Montana, many of my favorite childhood memories consisted of myself, my older brother, and my mom crowding together in her bedroom as she typed away at her little desk in the corner. 

As a single mother, she worked multiple jobs to provide for us kids until she made the courageous decision to jump head-first into her very own entrepreneurial adventure - putting all of her many years' of experience to work at her own small business management company. 

For years I watched her build her business (all for the sake of helping others do the same) and at 12 years old was given the opportunity to begin helping as her young assistant. Little did we know, it must run in the blood! As time went on and my experience grew, I was entrusted with assisting in a large variety of tasks including accounting, website and logo design, print advertisements, filing systems, and so much more! 

After beginning my own journey into adulthood, although I moved across the country to SC where I met my incredible husband and together we've built the family I always dreamed of, I never strayed far from my administrative roots. In 2018 I followed in my mother's footsteps and created my own business marketing & management company - by Original Design. 

It wasn't much at first - just websites and logos for new small businesses owned by friends, trying to help the local farrier get his name out there with some fresh business cards, and directing my focus to getting my family's local business on its feet along with bringing attention to a non-profit organisation here in town that's dear to my heart. 

Years later though, our family has grown and my kiddos are ready for their mama to do what she does, but at home.
